Unterm
Ambassador program

Help more developers find Unterm

Unterm is a free, open-source terminal built by a very small team. If it has made your days with Claude Code, Codex or Gemini better, the most useful thing you can do is tell the people you work with — honestly, in your own words, where they already hang out.

What ambassadors do

Write about how you use it

A blog post, a thread or a forum write-up about a real workflow — what you run in Unterm, what changed, what still annoys you.

Show it working

A short screen recording or a talk at a meetup: an agent waiting in the inbox, a fleet run, a review-and-merge.

Help newcomers

Answer questions in your community or in GitHub issues, and pass on bugs and feature requests you hear about.

Make it speak your language

Improve the app and site translations, or write a guide for developers in your language and region.

There are no quotas. One honest post that helps someone is worth more than ten that nobody reads.

What you get

  • Credit

Every post you share is listed on this page with your GitHub name.

  • A direct line

Bugs and requests you bring in — yours or your readers' — are looked at first.

  • A say in the roadmap

You hear what developers in your community need; we want to hear it from you before we plan.

Ground rules

Developers can smell marketing a mile away, and so can forum moderators. These rules protect your reputation as much as ours.

  1. 01

Say that you are an Unterm ambassador whenever you post about it.

  2. 02

Write in your own words, from your own use. No copy-pasted templates, and no AI-generated posts — many communities ban them, and readers can tell.

  3. 03

Follow each community's rules. Post where self-promotion is welcome; never spam groups, comment threads or DMs.

  4. 04

No fake accounts, fake reviews, vote rings or bought stars. Getting caught once would undo everything.

  5. 05

This is a volunteer program. We never pay per post, per click or per star — and we'll say so if anyone asks.

How it works

  1. Step 1
    Write or record something

Anywhere you like — your blog, a forum, a video site, a talk. No sign-up first.

  2. Step 2
    Share the link

Paste it into a short GitHub form: the link, and a title if you like.

  3. Step 3
    It shows up here

Within a few minutes it's on the list below. We only take a post down if it breaks the rules.
